Lorenza Baroncelli (1981) is an architect, curator and urban planner, expert in urban regeneration. She is currently Artistic Director at Triennale di Milano, visiting professor at Polytechnic University of Vienna (TU Wien) and a member of the Advisory Board of the Department of Architecture, Building Engineering and the Built Environment (DABC) at Politecnico di Milano. She also teaches at the Master of Art at Luiss in Rome and she was appointed Young Leader Talent in 2021 by Cassa Depositi e Prestiti.

She has been Council Member for Urban Regeneration and International Projects for the city of Mantua, Associate for Special Projects at the Serpentine Galleries in London, as well as Consultant for Urban and Cultural Strategies to Edi Rama, Prime Minister of Albania. She has been scientific director of the Swiss pavilion curated by Hans Ulrich Obrist at the Venice Biennale 2014 and scientific director of “15 Rooms” the exhibition curated by Klaus Biesenbach and Hans Ulrich Obrist at the Long Museum in Shanghai. She has been co-director of the architectural studio “Equipo de Mazzanti” in Bogota and architect at Stefano Boeri Architects where she collaborated in urban and architectural projects including the Concept Masterplan for the Milan Expo 2015. She graduated cum laude in Rome. Her articles has been published in national and international magazines and she has lectured in Italy, UK, Brazil, China and Albania.
