+ How to Get to the Symposium
By Metro
Line 1: Glòries station
It is about 13 minutes walking to the venue.
The metro operates daily between 5am and 12pm and offers uninterrupted service throughout the weekend.

Barcelona and the entire metropolitan area taxis are easily identifiable by their yellow and black colours.
All taxis have a green light to indicate availability, and a visible taximeter with the amount to be paid. You can easily pay by credit card.

+ From the Airport to the City Center
Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat airport is located 16 kilometers from the city.
You can reach the city center by several means of public transport in a journey of around 35 minutes or less.

L9 sud metro line connects the city and Barcelona airport (T1 and T2) daily.

The Symposium’s language will be English.
Barcelona is a tourist city so you won’t have problems using almost any European language.
If you want to mingle with locals, it is helpful to know that Catalans use two official languages, Catalan and Spanish.
