Eveline Buter joined Witteveen+Bos’ Board of Directors in 2020. She studied civil engineering at TU Delft and has a background in water management, societal cost-benefit analyses and energy (transition). For five years, she was head of the Witteveen+Bos office in Indonesia and has led the Product-Market-Combination (PMC) Industry and Energy from 2015 to 2021. Eveline has helped shape the W+B policy for the promotion of diversity, inclusivity and shared impact.
As a branch ambassador at Koninklijke NLingenieurs, she is also committed to speeding up the energy transition. As director, Eveline focusses on increasing the contribution of engineering consultants to sustainability. The United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals are an inspiration and guide, serving as a basis for Witteveen+Bos’s own Sustainable Design Principles.
