Dr. Ines Kawgan-Kagan

Managing Director, AEM Accessible Equitable Mobility GmbH

Ines is managing director of the AEM Institute and lecturer at different universities. She is passionate about innovative mobility, transport and gender and other diversity aspects. Her mission is to promote social justice, equity and equality when it comes to mobility. This dimension of sustainability is often left out. She helps companies in the field of transport and mobility to achieve diversity with a special focus on gender but not limited to it. This includes the work culture as well as the users. Her PhD-thesis at the Technische Universität Berlin covers the gender mobility gap when it comes to innovative mobility offers, and worked as a research associate at several institutions and as a consultant.

Her interdisciplinary background leads to a holistic view on the topics of mobility, transport and society, and she wants to create awareness of the topic and share her knowledge to shape future mobility.

She is a passionate trainer and lecturer and extremely proud of her four children and that she achieved all this not despite but because of them!
