Albert Veenstra

Prof. logistics + Scientific director, RSM / TKI-Dinalog

Albert Veenstra is professor of Trade and Logistics at the Rotterdam School of Management, and scientific director of the Dutch Institute for Advanced Logistics (Dinalog).

Albert Veenstra received a PhD from the Erasmus School of Economics, in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The PhD thesis was titled “Quantitative Analysis of Shipping Markets”. He teaches international transport and logistics, maritime economics and policy and developments in global freight transport BSc and MSc, and he is also involved in post-experience courses.

Professor Albert Veenstra is Academic Director of the MSC in Customs and Supply Chain Compliance. He participates and coordinates research projects on global supply chains and international logistics, and customs supervision in the international movement of goods. At TKI Dinalog, Albert is leading a funding program on research innovation in the field of transportation, logistics and supply chain management that is part of the Dutch Multiannual Innovation Mission Agenda.
