Sonar Lisbon 2022 – exploring creativity as the driving force for change in the 21st century.

In April 2022, Sónar and Sónar+D will take place in Lisbon for the first time. The focus of the conference and the exhibition are Sustainability and Human Rights, explored from the perspective of creative technologies. Sónar+D Lisboa is organized with the involvement of the European Commission as part of the S+T+ARTS initiative and will gather artists, technologists, scientists, activists and other personalities from different fields. This year activities include live performances, exhibitions, and on-site programmes. 

S+T+ARTS contributions will include the presentation of the art work by Forensic Architecture “The Murder of Pavlos Fyssas”a talk by Nuno Nunes focused on the topic of digital technologies, interactive storytelling and mixed reality as actions towards sustainability and a panel on Art & Disinformation involving Stefanos Levidis (Forensic Architecture),  Renata Ávila Pinto (Advocate of open-source, free software), Gaëtan Robillard (Media artist & researcher), moderated by Violeta Vasileva (Artshare).
