About the event

This webinar will give you an overview of the European S+T+ARTS initiative, which supports collaboration between Science, Technology and the ARTS, and its link to I4MS ICT for manufacturing SMEs initiative. Better Factory and VOJEXT, two of the Digital Innovation Hubs that bring the arts in their digital innovation processes, will present their offer and how the artistic perspective can contribute to the transformation of the manufacturing and construction sectors.

About the projects

I4MS(ICT Innovation for Manufacturing SMEs) promoted by the European Commission to expand the digital innovation of manufacturing SMEs in Europe. SME or a mid-cap can apply for technological and financial support to experiment with different technologies to facilitate the uptake of Advanced Technologies.

S+T+ARTS (Science, Technology & the Arts) is an initiative of the European Commission, launched under the Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme. Its purpose is to support collaborations between artists, scientists, engineers and researchers to develop more creative, inclusive, and sustainable technologies

BETTER FACTORY is a 4-year H2020-funded project (Grant Agreement 95813) aiming to help European manufacturers to become more competitive in the global market. Manufacturing Companies will discover new business models and digitise their factories to match the production of new or personalised products, thanks to the collaboration with Artists and Technology Suppliers during the lifetime of the Better Factory project and beyond.

The VOJEXT project aims at providing a favourable business and technological framework to enable matchmaking and encourage producers and adopters (mainly SMEs including small crafters) of cognitive autonomous systems for human-robot interaction, especially “cobots”, dynamising science-driven industry approaches for the European industry.
