Sonar Lisbon 2022 – exploring creativity as the driving force for change in the 21st century.

In April 2022, Sónar and Sónar+D will take place in Lisbon for the first time. The focus of the conference and the exhibition are Sustainability and Human Rights, explored from the perspective of creative technologies. Sónar+D Lisboa is organized with the involvement of the European Commission as part of the S+T+ARTS initiative and will gather artists, technologists, scientists, activists and other personalities from different fields. This year activities include live performances, exhibitions, and on-site programmes.
S+T+ARTS contributions will include the presentation of the art work by Forensic Architecture “The Murder of Pavlos Fyssas”, a talk by Nuno Nunes focused on the topic of digital technologies, interactive storytelling and mixed reality as actions towards sustainability and a panel on Art & Disinformation involving Stefanos Levidis (Forensic Architecture), Renata Ávila Pinto (Advocate of open-source, free software), Gaëtan Robillard (Media artist & researcher), moderated by Violeta Vasileva (Artshare).
