“LA ARTEINFORMADA – cuARTEntena”

May 14, 2020

The magazine ARTEINFORMADO and the Instagram page cuARTEntena – initiative of Rodrigo Carreño – have been collaborated in the organization of the exhibition “LA ARTEINFORMADA – cuARTEntena” with the aim of promoting artists during COVID-19 quarantine.

The exhibition will be held during May 2020 and is a result of an online selection process in which artists from around the world were called to participate with their artworks. About 100 artists participated in this process, submitting about 500 artworks. Ten artists were selected by the curator Rodrigo Carreño, including the artists María Castellanos and Alberto Valverde (working under the name uh513), who developed a STARTS Residency project during 2017-2018. In the “LA ARTEINFORMADA – cuARTEntena” online exhibition, we can visualize the artwork “The Plants Sense” (here) created by these two artists in collaboration with the Tech Project Flora Robotica.

All the artworks selected for “LA ARTEINFORMADA – cuARTEntena” can be consulted here.
