Sara Bonaventura
Sara Bonaventura is an Italian multimedia artist whose work blurs the line between scientific research and sci-fi narratives. Her research driven practice bridges media archaeology and new technologies, past and future. Her films and installations have been exhibited at prestigious venues worldwide: at the NYC Anthology Film Archives, the Ann Arbor Film Festival, the Athens Digital Arts Festival, the Amsterdam FIBER, at the 25th ISEA at ACC in Gwangju, the Cinemateca do MAM in Rio, at the MOMus in Thessaloniki, at Matadero in Madrid, the Boston CyberArts Gallery, etc. Her debut feature documentary, Forest Hymn for Little Girls, screened at the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival.
