General Director, Leiedal
Filip Vanhaverbeke is the general director of the intermunicipal company Leiedal. He has a background as an architect, urban planner and advisor to cities and municipalities on behalf of the realization of their urban projects. He laid the foundation for the substantive interpretation and innovative approach of local and regional initiatives related to spatial quality, process and project- management, project-oriented approaches, initiating new business and organizational structures, conducting city debates and nurturing regional reflections. His work at Leiedal focuses on specific, region-specific, sustainable and qualitative development of the horizontally urbanized network along with the parallel infrastructures in the region of South-West Flanders.
