S+T+ARTS RESILENCE “MINING AFFECT” SYMPOSIUΜ

ReSilence is delighted to present the “Mining Affect” Symposium

Organized as part of the European project ReSilence and the STARTS initiative

May 26, 2025 @ 14.00 – 18.00
Thessaloniki Concert Hall (25 Martiou & Paralia)
Thessaloniki Greece

The Mining Affect Symposium will revolve around the emotional analysis of urban spaces, its sounds and digital sociality in an era of data mining, cognitive labor, and manipulative disinformation. Through continuous digital connectivity, urban space is transformed into a multi-layered hybrid environment, where the experience of the city and social relations are radically redefined. The symposium invites researchers, artists, and experts from various disciplines to an open dialogue on how the “digital continuum” can reshape 21st-century urbanity, and how these transformations can affect our nervous system.
The Symposium will be recorded and shared!
