WorkshopSeptember 10th, 2025
Naples, Italy

S+T+ARTS MUSAE is hosting a workshop titled “Robotics and Arts for the Future of the Food Industry” (RAFFI-el), and you are warmly invited to register and contribute. The workshop will take place on 10th September 2025 and is co-located with the 17th International Conference on Social Robotics + AI (ICSR 2025) in Naples, Italy.

The workshop is open to everyone interested in its topic, described below:

“The RAFFI-el Workshop (Robotics and Arts for the Future of the Food Industry) invites researchers, creatives, and innovators to explore how robotics, AI, wearable technologies and the arts can collaboratively reimagine tomorrow’s food systems. By bridging technology and creativity, the workshop investigates innovative and ethical approaches to food production, distribution, and consumption—fostering sustainable practices, enhancing human and planetary well-being, and enriching culinary experiences. Bringing together experts from robotics, artificial intelligence, food science, and the arts, RAFFI-el offers a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue on topics such as robotic farming, AI-driven food design, wearable tech for chefs, and interactive dining. The workshop invites visionary ideas that challenge conventional boundaries and shape a more inclusive, artistic, and technologically advanced food future. This full-day workshop offers a unique interdisciplinary platform where technology meets creativity to envision sustainable, ethical, and enriching food futures.”

You are invited to register for RAFFI-el, and you can also submit a written contribution. Upon acceptance, this will allow you to have an in-person presentation and a poster session of the content of your submission within the workshop. A possible publication of the proceedings may follow.

If you are interested in the workshop, you can have a look at the RAFFI-el website, where you can find our call for contributions, as well as other information and future updates about the workshop.
