Innovation at the nexus of Science, Technology, and the ARTS

In the context of Milano Digital Week, STARTS finds its home at the TRIENNALE DI MILANO, foundation particularly attentive to the convergence of design, art, industry and research.

In the “Triennale Lab” space STARTS will present the STARTS PRIZE, aimed at artistic projects using digital technologies, VERTIGO STARTS the program of residencies for artists in scientific institutions and innovative companies and the WEARSUSTAIN project, the construction of the European ecosystem for development of ethical and sustainable Wearables and Fashion-Tech applications.

Saturday 17 and Sunday 18, visitors will have the chance to discover video installations, attend roundtables with Triennale and participate in workshops.

Saturday, March 17 – STARTS TALKS

The STARTS TALKS will take place on the 17^th of March. The panel will gather Paolo Cesarini, Head of Unit at the European Commission who will present the STARTS programme, Stefano Boeri, President of La Triennale di Milano, members of STARTS-funded projects, and Salvatore Iaconesi and Oriana Persico, two digital artists and collaborators of Agenzia per l’Italia Digitale.

Sunday, March 18 – STARTS ACADEMY

The STARTS ACADEMY is a workshop taking place on the 18^th of March and addressed to children aged 7 to 13.
