Since the mid-1960s, Jeffrey Shaw has pursued new forms of interactive experience in art and cinema, creating experimental installations through cutting-edge technologies. Currently he is a professor of Media Art at the City University of Hong Kong where he leads the Centre for Applied Computing and Interactive Media.

Jeffrey Shaw’s Meet the Media Guru lecture will share bright insights on the opportunities media art offers to create platforms with existing heritage materials that generate new imagery, collaborative practices, and awareness of cultural histories.
