In the framework of STARTS Aqua Motion, Austrian artists-in-residence OpenFields are hosting a series of workshops in Linz, inviting the public to engage with artistic research through hands-on experimentation and shared sensory exploration around water — connecting local audiences with artistic processes shaped by water, place, and imagination.
Our sensory experiences weave together memories of places, landscapes, and formative events – and in doing so, they shape how we imagine, perceive, and actively create future developments. In these festive December workshops, participants will cast candles inspired by places, moments, and personal memories of water.
As a special highlight, the artists invite the participants to enjoy punch and explore the water bar – featuring water samples from all districts of Linz. Taste the water of your district, notice its subtle differences, and become a water sommelier for a moment.
